Ruby Necklace (Dead)

Have not had great success with these plants. The mother plant was given to me by Stephanie, and it has since died. Many of the other off cuts I have made have died. I appear to be overwatering them. The only exception is this one that I have planted in a terracotta pot, to help prevent overwatering.

December 2025 -All propagations and the original plant have died.

Hoyas

Krohniana Silver Hoya (Dead)

Found at Home Depot in June 2025. It was in kind of rough shape when purchased, but has grown a little since then with shiny new leaves.

November 2025 -Slowly lost leaves and stems until the main plant died. Tried propagating cuttings multiple times, no success.

Begonias

“Agatha” -Beefsteak Begonia

Propagated from a branch off of ‘Cumin’, in the Spring of 2025.

Sept. 2025 -Measures 18” wide.

Miscellaneous

Baby Tears -Pila Depressa (DEAD)

Purchased in Spring of 2025 from Woodhill Garden Centre (North York).

Was growing very well until late August when I over-watered it. Had quite a bit of dying back, so I gave it a trim. Still looking scraggily.

November 2025 -Extreme die back, cut everything back to 2”

Callisia Repens (Dead)

Purchased on a whim from Woodhill Garden Centre in North York in the Summer of 2025. Grew tall and bushy, despite sub-optimal lighting.

October 2025 -Died off from a thripe infestation. Couldn’t be saved, despite several rounds of insecticide.

Cyclamen (DEAD)

Originally purchased for Mom for Mother’s Day, but she was going on a trip and couldn’t take care of it for several weeks. It eventually died before she came to pick it up.
