Baby Tears -Pila Depressa
Purchased in Spring of 2025 from Woodhill Garden Centre (North York).
Was growing very well until late August when I over-watered it. Had quite a bit of dying back, so I gave it a trim. Still looking scraggily.

Arabian Jasmine - Jasmine Sambac
Purchased in Spring of 2024 from Richter’s Herbs. Its trunk was chewed off by a chipmunk, and I assumed it was dead until almost the fall, when it pushed up a small shoot above soil level. I brought it in for the Winter and kept watering it.
August 2025 -It bloomed for the first time! Only a handful of flowers, and each flower only lasted half a day. They typically opened at night, and I would smell them as I got ready for work in the morning. The small blooms smelled very strongly for their size.
September 2025- Wiped down with insecticide to treat for spider mites.
Coffee Plant
Part of the original cluster of coffee plants that was given to me in late October 2021. The original pot of trees grew quickly, and I divided it into half. Half were divided up, and this half was just stuck into a new pot all together.

“Mia” -Coffee Plant
One of the individual coffee plants that were given their own pot.

Zz Plant
Originally given to me as a stump in a Dairy Queen container in the fall of 2024. I watered it regularly, until it started growing a small node towards the end of the year. It grew several inches between January and April, but has remained the same size for months.
‘Raven’ Zz Plant
Purchased from Woodhill Garden Centre in North York, in August 2025. I originally saw they had Raven Zz plants in the Spring it and thought they were too expensive. I then spent the next 5 months searching for something that ‘cheap’. There were a lot of dark Zz plants, but not a lot of truly raven black ones.
September 2025 -Put out several new stems, which are gradually darkening into black.
September 2025
‘Apple’ Geranium
Purchased from Richter’s in 2024. It has spent its summers outside, and its winters dying back due to lack of light and water. It grows in nice and full during the summer,
‘Lime’ Geranium
Purchased from Richter’s in 2024. It has spent its summers outside, and its winters dying back due to lack of light and water. This variety always grows in a little leggy, and has never looked very full.
Tradescantia Nanouk
Purchased on a whim from Woodhill Garden Centre in North York in the Summer of 2025. Grew very long, very quickly, but had to be cut back in September due to a few bug infestations with the office plants.
October 2025 -Gave it a trim, it was getting leggy.
dead Callisia Repens
Purchased on a whim from Woodhill Garden Centre in North York in the Summer of 2025. Grew tall and bushy, despite sub-optimal lighting.
October 2025 -Died off from a thripe infestation. Couldn’t be saved, despite several rounds of insecticide.
Tradescantia Purple Heart
Purchased for my Weston apartment in 2021. It was quickly propagated into many plants and given to many people.
