March 2026

“Bee” - AFrican Violet

Originally propagated from a single leaf, which I traded for. I traded a begonia leaf cutting for this violet leaf cutting.

January 2026 -Starting to re-bloom.

March 2026 -Had a bit of a die-back after a really hard, cold winter, and then a heavy watering. However, it does has a strong crop of upcoming leaves that are growing out right now.

“Bertha” - African Violet

Originally propagated from an African Violet I gave to Nana around mothers day of 2025. She wanted a plant for her room in the retirement home; some sort of flower that wasn’t yellow. I thought this drought-tolerant plant had the best chances of surviving, and the colours were stunning. The parent plant was purchased from Woodhill Garden Centre in North York.

“Shirley” - African Violet

Purchased from Woodhill Garden Centre in May or June 2025. I had admired Nana’s African Violet for several weeks, and finally decided to purchase a smaller one for myself. The blooms almost immediately all fell off.

September 2025 -It began to rebloom.

March 2026 -Has struggled through the Winter, but is attempting to rebloom.
